Who is Metavivor?
METAvivor is the only organization in the US that exclusively funds MBC research through a scientific peer-review process. They award research grants to individuals with a clinical or other doctoral degree who are actively engaged in areas of metastatic breast cancer research, and whose proposals show distinct promise in making a difference for the stage 4 breast cancer community. They are a volunteer-led, non-profit organization that funds vital research to help improve the longevity and quality of life for MBC patients.
Passionately committed patients ourselves, we rally public attention to the urgent needs of the MBC community, help patients find strength through support and purpose, and make every dollar count as we work with researchers to extend and improve quality of life for MBC patients.

About US
The purpose of the page is to educate men and women about the differences of MBC and Breast Cancer, raise funds to find a cure and share education and support for those and the loved one of those fighting with MBC. The event was created in 2021 after my devastating diagnosis of MBC in September of 2020.
In my belief that we are close to finding a cure for this disease, I want to remain hopeful that together we can find more treatments and ultimately find a cure. I didn’t want to just ask people for donations, so I envisioned an event where we can all come together, get educated about MBC and have some fun by doing some shopping while supporting small businesses. A percentage of the proceeds of sales will go to METAvivor.
